The Mayne Local Trust Committee gave first reading to an amended flexible-housing bylaw after voting to add lots identified as A, B, D, E and F on a map in the June 27 staff report to the areas where the housing would be permitted.[1] A public hearing was to be scheduled for the committee’s July meeting.[1]

The committee also voted to remove non-residential properties from the bylaw’s map and asked staff to amend a provision to apply to lots with an area of 5 hectares (12.355 acres).[1]

The committee had rescinded its earlier first reading of the bylaw before making the amendments, then approved first reading of the revised version.[1]
