The Mayne Island Local Trust Committee endorsed a business case for phase two of its Housing Options Project, moving it to relevant committees and Trust Council for consideration.[1]
The minutes say the project was moving into phase two and that an application for the Housing Acceleration Fund was in progress.[1] The business case was endorsed at the committee’s July 31 meeting.[1]
The committee also approved, as amended, a project charter for minor amendments to the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaws.[1] The minutes record discussion of accessory-building height, wood sheds in setbacks, personal watercraft rules and possible zoning changes to accommodate potential community use of BC Ferries property.[1]
