Mayne trustees approve housing workshop in place of October meeting
The October 28 business meeting was cancelled and rescheduled as a community workshop on housing options.

Mayne Island’s Local Trust Committee will use its October 28 meeting date for a community workshop on housing options, after trustees approved cancelling the regularly scheduled business meeting and rescheduling it as a workshop.[1]
Island Planner Narissa Chadwick said the workshop would identify elements that contribute to affordable housing, explain what the committee can do through the Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw, and describe Mayne Island’s housing action plan.[1]
Potential partners, stakeholders, community members and other levels of government will be invited to participate, according to the meeting minutes.[1]
